GARDEN PHOTOS  14321 evanston ave N

Heirloom Romano beans that have been in my family for about 100 years.

These photos were taken at a house I sold in the summer of 2011.

Aquilegia formosa - native columbine.

Lupinus rivularis -- river lupine, a WA native. The photo doesn’t do it justice, you have got to see the whole plant, covered with soft, lavender/blue blossoms.

Camas, a native bulb used by first nations as food.

They both seem to be varieties of Camassia leichtilinii.

Cornus sericea, or Red Osier Dogwood, a native shrub. This variety has yellowish stems.
